Episode #9: Deadly love triangle.

In 2006, Ridgeland was rocked and captivated by the story of a pregnant school teacher gunned down in her carport in the dark of night. Avis Banks didn't seem to have any enemies, though some people wondered if the father of her child was ready to step into those dad shoes. As police worked to uncover her killer, they unraveled a saga that has been the subject of national attention ever since. 

 

Retired Ridgeland Police Chief John Neal joins us. He was an investigator at the time, and he'll shine a light on what was going on behind the scenes in the brutal slaying of Avis Banks and her unborn child.
